The pros of traditional marketing includes the following: it reaches audiences easily by ways such as newspaper ads and mail flyers. This way is effective if businesses want to reach potential customers who are within their target demographics and location.

Physical items such as coupons, giveaway items (caps etc.) are a way for customers to interact as they will keep the items!

The cons of traditional marketing: Much more expensive as compared to digital marketing, especially if people throw away your printed-advertisements on flyers, it will be a waste of money!

Pros and Cons of Digital Marketing (Limits)

A few pros to list out: Much more engaging contents, responses are higher, cheaper advertising and much more! These pros have proved to be very effective in reaching potential new customers.

However, there a few cons of digital marketing which includes: feedbacks are poor and the appearance of trolls on the internet! Complaints from customers who are unhappy and people who find it fun to disturb a business by posting nonsense on the internet – These are just some cons, there are even more!

To Conclude,

Whether it is digital or traditional which your company prefers, it is recommended to choose the right strategy first before commencing! But there is always a small chance that both digital and traditional marketing will be incorporated into your strategy.

Traditional marketing still has benefits given current times, especially for businesses with a not so tech-savvy customer base! So do not write it out just yet!

Companies can always choose to mix both digital and traditional, which is called integrated-marketing (IMC) which may make it more unique as compared to other companies!

  1. Hey Hector! Congrats on finally finishing up your final blog. First off, your blog took a clear approach to the topic, showing the importance of traditional marketing and digital marketing. The examples used for each point also helped to illustrate your points and made it more engaging for your readers. However, I would prefer it if you provided real life examples of traditional and digital marketing showing their successes and failures. For me I still love the olden ways of marketing where everything has a physical feel to it instead of being online. I believe there are others who would still prefer traditional marketing as well haha! Overall, your essay was well written as it outlined the pros and cons of each method concisely. Keep up the good work should you further venture into blogging!
